Aerospect Precision ImagingUnder the USU Research Foundation, Aerospect Precision Imaging (API) is leveraging remote sensing techniques and technologies for commercial applications in industrial remote sensing. API is pursuing final development funding for the Imager Inspection and Surveillance System (ISIS) an exciting new industrial remote sensing technology. ISIS is an advanced multi-spectral imaging system used for maintenance inspections and security assessments for critical infrastructures such as power lines and pipelines. A majority of the system for power line applications is complete. Sensor selections and system design for pipeline applications are under way. API has identified over 20 pieces of enabling technologies and processes and has filed patents for the proprietary business methods used in power line and pipeline inspections and security assessments. Strategic planning for additional patents is being conducted to einsure maximum intellectual property protection and market security. |
