Education Outreach

USURF Education and Public Outreach (EPO) programs prepare the nation’s future workforce with first-hand experience on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) projects. EPO participants develop the critical workplace skills needed to achieve in STEM disciplines, as well as in the business world.

USURF outreach efforts focus public attention on the value of science and engineering information, education and employment. Current EPO activities help participants develop the critical skills needed to achieve in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, as well as the business world.

Over the years, USURF’s EPO programs have touched diverse groups. Students from USU and other universities benefit from hands-on experience in research, when they are employed at USURF, when they are funded on collaborative USU-USURF programs, and when they receive support through fellowships.
