Economic Development
To accomplish its economic development mission, USURF is dedicated to creating and retaining high-paying jobs in Utah, with an annual payroll of over $26 million.
USURF also provides support to enable events of high economic value to USU and Cache valley, such as the Annual USU/AIAA Conference on Small Satellites and the CALCON Conference on Characterization and Radiometric Calibration for Remote Sensing, attracting more than 2000 visitors each year.
USURF partners with USU’s Office of Commercialization and Regional Development to transition technologies into commercial use.
